Um sedutor e suculento Pinot Noir com refrescantes morangos e cerejas, sabores de frutas maduras, um frescor persistente e taninos leves e empoeirados. Os vinhos de David Duband caracterizam-se pela pureza, equilíbrio e camadas frutadas.

Este vinho é feito de vinhas velhas. As uvas são colhidas à mão e classificadas pela segunda vez na adega, e a fermentação ocorre com 40% de cacho inteiro em tanques de concreto com levedura natural, depois envelhece por 17 meses em carvalho francês.

David Duband Côte de Nuits Village vem principalmente da aldeia de Brochon, mesmo ao lado de Gevrey-Chambertin.

From Brochon. 60% whole bunch. Barrel sample. Sweeter fruited on the nose compared with the Louis Auguste but still with the slight herbal note. Thyme again. Light on the palate, delicate, just enough fruit for the whole-bunch style but I find it slightly lean at this stage. Tight, mouth-watering, sinewy. Robert Parker - Wine Advocate: The 2018 Côte de Nuits-Villages was produced from fruit purchased from the commune of Brochon. Mingling raspberries and cherries with hints of candied peel, cassis and currant leaf, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with a lively spine of acidity and powdery structuring tannins.
